Paula Rego Temporary Museum, Lisbon
A white, massive, enclosed volume, built in paired styrofoam blocks, rests on a blue carpet floor, assuming itself as a (cultural) exception space that simultaneously abstracts and inevitably relates to its context – the commercial space.
The three entrances, oriented in different directions, give access to three rooms, of different dimensions and proportions, corresponding to the different themes exposed and that send the visitor to the central space — the neuralgic nucleus of the museological structure — where the main work of the exhibition is found, the "Blue Fairy" by Paula Rego.
